COMBO PLAY

October 15, 2019

The Way to 'Hedge' Your Bets!

  • Combo Play lets you wager on a series of combinations of the same games on PRO·LINE, OVER/UNDER or POINT SPREAD.
  • The total cost of the ticket is calculated by multiplying the wager by the number of combinations.
  • You can win a prize, even if not all your predictions are correct.
  • The potential payout is the total of the prizes of all winning combinations.

How to Play

  1. Choose the Combo and number of games: Pick from a 2, 3, 4 or 5-Game Combo and then choose the number of games you will predict. Note: A 2-Game Combo is not available on PRO·LINE.
  2. Add Standard Play if you wish to add a regular Selection of all the games you predict. All predictions must be correct to win on Standard Play.
  3. Mark the SPORT SELECT game you want to play: PRO·LINE, OVER/UNDER or POINT SPREAD.
  4. Wager from $2 to $20, as shown on the Selection Slip. Your ticket cost is your wager multiplied by the total number of combinations. For example, a 3-Game Combo with four games predicted includes four combinations: $2 x 4 Combos = $8. To add Standard Play, add the wager amount again: $8 + $2 = $10.
  5. Mark the game numbers you are wagering on. For example, if you want to select Game 5, mark Box 5; if you want to select Game 25, mark Box 20 and Box 5 on the same board.
  6. Mark one prediction to the right of the game number.

    • On PRO·LINE, choose "Visitor Win" (V), "Tie" (T) or "Home Win" (H). The PRO·LINE Tie Rule applies to any PRO·LINE outcome selected.
    • On OVER/UNDER, choose "Over" (O) or "Under" (U).
    • On POINT SPREAD, choose "Visitor Win" (V) or "Home Win" (H). Click here for information on the "spread."

Give the completed slip and your wager to the Retailer before the start of the earliest game you selected. Check your ticket before leaving the store to make sure it's what you selected.

How to Win

  • Your potential payout is the total of the prizes for all winning combinations.
  • A winning combination is an individual combination where all the predictions are correct.
  • To win on a:

    • 2 Game Combo (available for OVER/UNDER and POINT SPREAD only): you need at least two correct picks
    • 3 Game Combo : you need at least three correct picks.
    • 4 Game Combo: you need at least four correct picks.
    • 5 Game Combo: you need at least five correct picks.

Calculating Prizes for PRO-LINE and OVER/UNDER Combo Play

Multiply the odds for each game in a combination by your wager. Then add the totals of every winning combination to find the total prize. Using the example of a 3-Game Combo with four games, you calculate your prize as follows:

Potential Prize for:
Combo A Game 1 Odds x Game 2 Odds x x Wager
Combo B Game 1 Odds x Game 2 Odds x x Wager
Combo C Game 1 Odds x Game 3 Odds x x Wager
Combo D Game 1 Odds x Game 3 Odds x x Wager
Standard Play Game 1 Odds x Game 2 Odds x Game 4 Odds x Wager

If you were right about Games 1, 2 and 3, but wrong about Game 4, add the prizes of every combination that does not contain Game 4.

All games in a Combo must be correct to be eligible for a prize in that Selection.

Calculating Prizes for POINT SPREAD Combo Play

Calculate the payout for each winning combination by multiplying your wager by the payout factor for the number of games in that combination. Add the totals of all the winning combinations - this is your prize.
If you're playing a 2-Game Combo, use the payout factor for two games; if you are playing a 3-Game Combo, use the payout factor for three games; and so on.

Example: If you correctly predicted three out of four basketball games on a 2-Game Combo, you have three winning combinations.

  • The payout factor for two basketball games is 2.5 times your wager, so the prize for each winning combination is 2.5 x $2 wager = $5.
  • Add the prizes for all three winning combinations ($5 + $5 + $5 = $15).

COMBO PLAY Tips
  • A 2-Game Combo is only available with OVER/UNDER and POINT SPREAD.
  • As Combo Play involves a series of wagers, your potential payout is the total of the prizes for each winning combination on your ticket.
